Lark of Honor Bright, a Friesian stallion owned by Aimee Ziller and shown by Bryan Ludens, all residents of California, won top honors as the 2017 High Point Purebred Friesian competing in Working Equitation in North America, an award sponsored by Friesian Horse Association of North America (FHANA).
Born in 2003, Lark of Honor Bright is out of Ramona and by Wicher 334. He and Bryan competed in five licensed Working Equitation competitions in the 2017 season.
Spectators watching Lark at Working Equitation competitions have been heard to remark on his ability to collect and how well-balanced his canter is.
“A quality canter is one of the things we really want in our stallion,” Bryan explained, “because it is such an important working gait.”
Congratulations, Lark of Honor Bright, Aimee Ziller, and Bryan Ludens; this is a team to continue to watch in the future!
