Cari Schwartz, who has judged 394 competitors in licensed WE competitions since she was initially licensed in 2017, earned her promotion to “R” Judge on April 29, 2020.
Cari’s pursuit of learning and passion for judging has already taken her to Texas, Illinois, California, Oregon, and Washington, as well as Alberta and British Columbia, Canada, and she is looking forward to sharing her knowledge of the sport with members in Idaho this summer.
Cari came to Working Equitation after a long and very competitive career in jumping and dressage. She competed in the first licensed Working Equitation competition in her home state of Oregon years ago and has never looked back!
In 2017, she and her Trakehner mare Exsarena, whom Cari raised and trained, earned the National Championship title at the Intermediate B level.
The first person in the United States to earn her Silver Medal in Working Equitation, Cari delights in sharing her knowledge with others through clinics, schooling shows, and private instruction, as well as through her judging assignments.
Congratulations, Cari, on your latest achievement in the sport!
