Congratulations, Rebecca Algar, GOLD MEDAL winner!

Rebecca Algar, who has been active in Working Equitation since its debut in the United States nearly ten years ago, earned the final scores she needed for her Lifetime Gold Rider Medal at the WE United Competition held at Pepperglen Farms in California, May 26, 2019.

The honor is particularly meaningful because Rebecca not only trained her partner, Quarter Horse Sharp Drezzed Man (featured in the photo), she also raised and showed his sire and brought his dam from Australia. Rebecca’s eye for quality horses and her training expertise are certainly underscored by this accomplishment.

Rebecca’s scores were earned at the following competitions:

  • 63.84% in Dressage, Advanced, February 2, 2019 B-Rated Competition, Norco, California.  Judge: Polly Limond.
  • 70.12% in Dressage, Advanced. Poway Valley Riders Association Cinco de Mayo Show, May 5, 2019. Judge: Barbara Price.
  • 68.26% in Dressage, Advanced. Pepperglen WE Show, May 26, 2019. Judge: Barbara Price.

  • 70.25% in Ease of Handling, Advanced. Pepperglen WE Show, May 26, 2019. Judge: Barbara Price.
