First Two Riders Earn Bronze Medals

Posted on Posted in News

WE United would like to congratulate our first two members to earn their Bronze Medals in Working Equitation, Mary (Cassy) Holcomb and Joan Moore, both of Washington state.

Cassy and Joan were among the earliest adopters of Working Equitation in the Pacific Northwest and have been active competitors in the sport, traveling to licensed competitions in Oregon and Washington, where in the course of competing in six different events they earned a sufficient number of qualifying scores to earn their Bronze Medals.  These medals will be presented in an awards ceremony at the WE United Celebration in Eugene, Oregon December 3, 2016.

Both Cassy and Joan are students in the Pedro Torres Academy of Working Equitation, USA, and both train regularly at South Ridge Farms in Ridgefield, Washington.

Congratulations, Cassy and Joan, on this wonderful accomplishment.  All your hard work clearly shows!
