Sarah Pinney has been drawn to the Working Equitation discipline since she first saw in it Golega, Portugal back in the early 2000’s. Her reaction was, “How beautiful, and how fun!”
She says she remembers wondering why the riders were ringing bells, jumping hay bales, riding circles in rings with live chickens inside?
“The standard of riding and training was impressive, beautiful Lusitano horses, lovely attire… I was intrigued immediately,” she admits.
When WE United began offering licensed competitions in California this year, she finally saw her chance to jump in. Sarah quickly established herself as a serious competitor, with three horses on the Regional Leaderboard and definite enthusiasm for helping the sport continue to grow.
We’re delighted to have you on board, Sarah!
