Show Report: 2016 Haras Cup

Haras Dos Cavaleiros in Magnolia, Texas, hosted their third Haras Cup Working Equitation competition October 14-16, 2016.  The three-day event included 55 horse/rider pairs competing in classes ranging from Introductory through the Masters level “International” class.

WE United members who participated include Madison Waller, who won the Junior class on Rollingwoods Double Stuff and placed first on Diablo DC to finish 2nd place overall in Introductory Youth; Kiki Pantaze, who won the Novice Amateur class on Sandhaven Late to the Party as well as taking third place overall in the Novice Amateur class on Sandhaven Prima Donna; Bob Lawson, who placed 4th place out of six on Burladero in the Novice Amateur class; Lisa Harding, who placed 3rd out of six in the Novice Open class on Sandhaven Chanel and also rode Sandhaven Shameless in Intermediate Open and Carbon in the International class; Tammy Williams, who took 1st place in the Intermediate Amateur class with Davidoff DC; Howard Peet, who came in 5th in the Novice Open class on Luchador BP and 6th in the Intermediate Open class on Fresona Roy; Prissy Rumel, who competed in the Intermediate Open class on Priscilla’s Flight; Kim Peterson, who came in 2nd in the Advanced class on Sharp Drezzed Man; and Carlos Carneiro, who came in 2nd out of 9 with Engaço in the Intermediate Open class, and won both Dressage and Ease of Handling with Andiamo 2005 in the Advanced class, and took home the 3rd place in the Masters level international class.
