Show Report: ERAHC Working Equitation

NOTE: This competition was not licensed with WE United. The judge is not a WE United recognized judge; so points earned at the competition do not count toward any of the WE United Performance Awards Programs.  We provide this show report as a service to our members who participated in the competition. 

The 2017 Working Equitation show hosted by the Eastern Regional Andalusian Horse Club (ERAHC) was significantly larger than the prior year. In all 14 horses competed in the Dressage trial, while 8 successfully completed the Ease of Handling trial, and 6 the Speed trial.

Arielle Blackstone and Liante RRR were the only Introductory-level competitors to complete both Dressage and Ease of Handling, earning solid scores of 65.95% in Dressage and 60.88% in Ease of Handling.

Rebecca Yount and Dior came in 4th in Dressage, and 1st in Ease of Handling and Speed to win the four-entry Novice A class, with Elizabeth Morosani and Sonrisa TLM coming in 1st in Dressage, 2nd in Ease of Handling, and 3rd in Speed to take 2nd overall.

Laura Miller and DEM Rayo scored a 68.46% in Dressage and 71.25 in Ease of Handling to take home the overall win in the one-entry Novice B class.

In the two-entry Intermediate A level, Tracy Click and Tambore HM swept all three trials to win the overall 1st place, while Rose Watt and Sincerrey Santiago successfully completed all three trials and won 1st place overall in the one-entry Intermediate B class.
