The good folks of Texas gathered October 1 for the fourth and final competition in the 2016 Heart of Texas WE series at Watts Way Arena.
Denise Sadler and Doc Caan Do won both Dressage and EOH to clinch the victory in the Introductory Amateur class. Kiki Pantaze and Sandhaven Late to the Party’s first place finishes in Dressage and Ease of Handling were enough to bring them to the lead in the overall placings in the Novice Amateur class. Lisa Harding and Sandhaven Chanel came in second in Dressage and Ease of Handling and then won the Speed trial to take the win in the Novice Open class.
Prissy Rumel and Priscella’s Flight once again dominated the Intermediate Open class, winning all three trials as well as the Overall competition at that level, while Jade Gonzales rode Fineleehetouchedme to a first place finish in the Intermediate Amateur class. Kim Peterson (Advanced) and Pablo Mata (Introductory) were each the only riders in their respective classes, but both turned in respectable rides at the competition.
