Show Report: Heart of Texas Series Show #2

Posted on Posted in Show Report

The Heart of Texas series continues to draw lots of interest, as is evidenced by the participation at the second competition in the 2016 series.  The B-Rated Competition, held in Cedar Creek, Texas, was judged by Michael Vermaas, R.

With 6 competitors, the Novice level adult amateur class was the most popular at the event.

At this competition, WE United members Kiki Pantaze, Kim Peterson, and Doreen Atkinson all earned more points toward the WE United Annual Leaderboard, where the three of them are currently leading the nation at the Novice American Rider, Novice International Rider, and Advanced American Rider categories. Points earned at this competition also help solidify the Australian Stock Horse domination of the top placings in the sport, with Australian Stock Horses owned by Kellee Campbell of Sandhaven Performance Horses and Prissy Rumel in the Top 3 positions at both the Novice and Intermediate Levels.
