Appaloosa competing in Working Equitation

The Working Equitation competition season kicked off with a well-attended one-day show on February 20 hosted by Highlander Ranch in Waco, Texas. Rebecca Algar of Texas presided as the judge.

The event, managed by Working Equitation Texas, included 23 entries competing in Adult Amateur and Open classes at Introductory, Novice, and Intermediate Levels as well as an Open Advanced class. The largest class of the competition was the Novice Open class, with 8 riders.

Those in attendance praised the organization of the event, noting how smoothly things ran even with the large number of participants. Complete results follow.
