Working Equitation Nebraska finished the 2016 Competition Season with two one-day licensed shows held in Lexington, Nebraska.

The event included riders from Nebraska, Iowa, and Colorado, with Judge Tarrin Warren making the trip from Texas for the event.

For the second day in a row, Jo Teter and Teters Dazzle swept the Introductory level class, winning both Dressage and Ease of Handling to take home the Overall Champion title for the event. This win, coupled with their first-place finish the day before, moved Jo and her mule Teters Dazzle into the 6th place in the Nation at the Introductory level.

Kara Honeysuckle-Mehaffy rode A Red Hot Sensation to finish Overall Champion in the Novice class, with first-place finishes in both Ease of Handling and Speed.

Their performance over the two days moved Louise McCall, of Iowa, and her horse Rio Bravo into a five-way tie for 7th place in the Nation at the Introductory level.
