Show Report: Southeast Baroque Horse Show, 2016

The Southeast Baroque Horse Show, in Gainesville, FL, welcomed Working Equitation to their event, with Judge Wayne Hipsley (KY) offering insights to help those in attendance prepare for continued growth in the sport.

The Introductory class was won by Kadi Kaercher on her horse Bandina. It was a fight to the finish between Dee Janelle, on Cotillon BR, and Ruth Perez, on Baldomero VI, in the Novice class. They ended the competition tied with 10 points apiece, and because they also tied in Dressage, Dee’s higher score in Ease of Handling was used to name her the overall winner. Dee also earned her first qualifying score toward her WE United Bronze Medal at this competition.

Heather Walters rode Sombra de Luna at the Advanced level, earning two qualifying scores toward her WE United Gold Medal.
