Show Report: Texas Rose Spring Show

The Texas Rose Horse Park in Tyler, Texas welcomed a small but enthusiastic group of working equitation riders to their spring show, judged by Michael Vermaas, S, Texas.

Sarah Walker rode Macaroni to a first place win in the three-entry Introductory class, with a 1st place in Dressage (63.33%) and 2nd place in Ease of Handling (60%). Laura Post and TK Neat Little Cat came in 2nd in Dressage (59.76) and 1st in Ease of Handling (62.81%) to take second place overall, while Julie Tetrick and Cocheese finished very close behind, scoring 59.29% in Dressage and 60% in Ease of Handling.

Randall Walker and Oh Danny Boy took 2nd in Dressage (66.59%), and 1st in both Ease of Handling (68.20%) and Speed to take home 1st place overall in the three-entry Novice A class.  Leah Norstrud and Fiona finished 2nd in Ease of Handling (63.80) and 3rd in both Dressage (59.55%) and Speed to win 2nd place overall. Madison Waller and Diablo DC started very strong, with a 1st place in Dressage (68.84%) but disqualified in Ease of Handling, and came in 2nd in Speed, for a third-place finish overall.
