Show Report: WE United Celebration, Dec. 3-4, 2016

The 2017 competition year started off strong with a 20-horse WE United competition at the Oregon Horse Center in Eugene, Oregon, presided over by Judge Doreen Atkinson, TX, with Chesna Klimek serving as the Technical Delegate.

Cari Schwartz rode the P.R.E. Andalusian mare Arcelia AA to a first-place finish in the Introductory level class of seven, while Marilyn Rodriguez and her Haflinger No Falling Star FCF swept the 9-entry Novice level class, winning first place in all three trials to finish in a strong lead for the overall placings. In addition, Marilyn earned the first of her Ease of Handling qualifying scores toward her Bronze Lifetime Rider Medal.

The Intermediate level class was won by Morgan Wagner and Endo the Blind, turning in a Dressage performance that moved Morgan one step closer to her Silver Lifetime Rider Medal.

This show welcomed a variety of first-time riders and horses. Riders making their WE debut included Trista Thill, Susan Campbell, Savannah Cox, and Marilyn Rodriguez. First time WE horses included Sephiroth, Arcadia AA, CDC Brillo, Scenics Lucky Ice, Roxy, Navigational Escort, No Falling Star FCF, Bowdrie, and Dos Equis.

Congratulations, all, on a very positive weekend!
