A very respectable 21 entries gathered in Decatur, Texas on October 22 to participate in a Working Equitation competition judged by Tarrin Warren.
Carrie Tandy’s accomplishments deserve special mention. She and Bandit placed first in both Dressage and Ease of Handling to win the Introductory Amateur class, with 11 entries, the largest division at the event. Their scores in both trials would have secured their first-place finish even had the Amateur and Open divisions been combined. She also placed first in both Dressage and Ease of Handling in the Novice Amateur class, which, combined with a second place finish in Speed, secured her victory in that division as well.
Congratulations are definitely in order.
