WE United youth Stacey Peuplie, TX,  finished the 2017 Competition Season 4th place in the Nation among Youth riders competing at the Novice level on Sharp Drezzed Man, a Quarter Horse gelding owned and trained by her instructor Rebecca Algar. The two also placed 4th among all competitors (youth, amateur, and open!) in their Region, which includes the states of New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

Stacey began riding Sharp Drezzed Man “Manny” about a year and a half ago, under the guidance of her coach, WE United judge Rebecca Algar. “Manny loves to work,” Stacey explained. “He gives the rider 100% every ride. He is smart with a genuine nature. We have built a special bond and trust.”

Reflecting on what appeals to her about Working Equitation, Stacey explains, “It’s a way of riding unlike any other discipline, while combining multiple elements together!”

In addition to Working Equitation, Stacey says she enjoys riding Manny bareback and that the two enjoy jumping.

“I would like to thank my coach, Rebecca Algar who is a highly talented and a wonderful teacher!” Stacey wrote, “I am grateful for your patience!”
