Welcome, Canadian Horse Heritage and Preservation Society!

The Canada-based  Canadian Horse Heritage and Preservation Society (CHHAPS) has come through for Canadian Horse breeders and enthusiasts, sponsoring the Year-End High Point Award for registered Canadian Horses competing in Working Equitation.

If you have a Canadian Horse, be sure to include its official registration number when completing your horse recording form to ensure that your points are being tracked appropriately.

For 2017, the winner of the High Point Canadian Horse is Canadian Farm Jerrycho Manon, a beautiful mare owned by Karen Bentley and shown by her daughter Kristina Eckert.

In addition to her High Point Breed Recognition, Manon secured her place in Working Equitation history by winning the 2017 Novice A National Championship title at the WE United National Show. In addition to her WE career, Canadian Farm Jerrycho Manon is an accomplished combined driving and eventing horse, truly a testament to the versatility of this breed.
